The former Manchester United striker, Odion Ighalo has secretly advised his Nigeria counterpart friend, Victor Osimhen to join there club to amid reports of interest from Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, the 24-year-old has been attracting so much interest from top clubs outside in Europe which include United, Chelsea, PSG, Liverpool, and Real Madrid following his massive impressive performance in this season.
The top goal scorer in Serie A has notched 19 goals and 3 assists in the 21 leagues in which he appeared in for the Parthenopeans in the 2022/23 season.
Furthermore, the Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has made an arrangement to place the Nigerian top striker to his transfer target for the next summer.
In a video chat in which he has with the Sky Sports, Al Hilal striker Ighalo had believed that Osimhen’s style of football is the perfect and excellent match for Manchester United and urged him to sign for the Red Devils. There is noting that he could do to form a perfect partnership with Marcus Rashford.
In other words, i think that it’s a good fit having Osimhen and Rashford because it can cause some defender panic, Ighalo told Sky Sports.
If in anyway Osimhen asks me for any form of advice on what he should do, then I would advise him to go and join Manchester United because it’s really a big club.
