The Former Brighton Hove Albion manager, Chris Hughton has been appointed as the new head coach of Ghana's Black Stars and they have also announced the country's football association (GFA) .
Mr Hughton was the assistant to Otto Addo and was also part of the Black Stars coaching crew to the last year's World Cup which was held in Qatar.
According to the Ghana football association, he will be barely assisted by George Boateng and also Mas-Ud Didi Dramani.
The statement from the Ghana Football Association on Sunday night, February 13 said that the Ghana Football Association has the pleasure to appoint Chris Hughton as there Head Coach of the Black Stars following the extensive deliberations between the two parties respectively.
The so said appointment is in line with the vision of the Ghana Football Association to continue with the project of building a formidable squad which was started with Otto Addo in the lead up to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament last year.
Mr. Hughton have been said to be the Technical Advisor of the Black Stars for the past twelve months of the year.
The Ghana Football Association has also decided to maintain there assistant Coaches George Boateng and Mas-Ud Didi Dramani respectively.
The three coaches that are barely involved were part of the technical team for the World Cup in Qatar .
Moreover, the full details about the duration of the signed contract and terms of engagement would be announced to the people in due course.
