IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu diagnosed with unwellness in DSS custody

Mr Ifeanyi Ejiofor, who was the one that lead counsel to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has revealed that his client’s health has worsened.

From the information gathered by NAIJACHIDOO, after Ejiofor's usual visit to Kanu in the custody of the Department of State Services, said his client had been diagnosed with gastrointestinal disorder. 

The lawyer later asked  the Justice Mrs Binta Nyako of the Federal high court in Abuja to grant his client the chance to go for a serious medical checkup.

He said;

Presently, Onyendu is experiencing illness, which needs regular intake of antacid and other availing medical solutions, following persistent heartburn.

Unfortunately, the DSS have denied him the smallest amount of the prescribed pain killer tablets that would provide momentary relief.

Following this development, our erudite lead counsel, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN) has immediately swung into action to make sure immediate end to the current maltreatment and impunity.

He added;

Notwithstanding, we still deem it compelling to position of the globe on Notice which ought to anything untoward happen to Onyendu, the DSS and therefore the central of Nigeria should be held responsible.

Orders of the Court must be obeyed, particularly where the Order has not been put aside. The DSS may be a creation of the Law and must not be seen to be operating above the Laws of the Land that created it.

Mr Onyendu have extended his heartfelt love and appreciation to you all as well, also to UmuChineke for remaining firm and strongly holding the fort.

He is particularly impressed along with your uncommon civility, even within the face of endless provocations, he urged you all to stay it up, while believing strongly that ChukwuOkike Abiama’s Grace is leading us towards overwhelming victory, which is not any longer far-fetched.
