When i was about 23 or 24 but can't really remember the actual age, i used to be the sole African person in there so neighborhood then, so I moved in and had a U-Haul truck behind me as well. Just about 2 days later, police came to the door, sort of a detective type. They came in and searched the entire house, asking me what do I do, because I bought that house cash

The interviewer proceeded to notice that UK rapper, Stormzy, also experienced something similar when he bought a house in Chelsea then she asked what Davido’s thoughts were on the incident.

Reacting, The singer noted that when Caucasoid race see a human doing something positive and making money, they're confused and need to grasp how.

Davido said:

I don’t think they need a controversy with it, it'd just be shocking or they require to understand how. after you see young black men not stealing money, not killing, not robbing, doing something positive and makes money out of it and moves to a specific area, they're confused.

Davido went on to notice that he considers it to be a results of brainwashing because Americans are said to think there’s nothing good in Africa.

In his words:

I’ve lived within the western world, I board Africa SO i understand why the Africans are angry and that i also understand why the Americans will think that way because living in America, you’re observed to think Africa is like no go area, in Africa, we are observed to think ‘yo this people took everything from us’, so i believe that’s something we've to mend.
