The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on Tuesday in Abuja reticent judgment in the solicitation of the Presidential seeker of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Abubakar Atiku seeking abolition of the agitation of Bola Ahmed Tinubu who was declared as winner of the February 25 presidential election.
Although, the president of the tribunal, Justice Simon Tsammani, while presenting his initial judgment on him said that the date of its delivery would be actually communicated to parties in the disagreement of the result released.
The major supplicant, Atiku, asked the Tribunal to do substantial justice to his solicitation and not specialized judgment that may backslider the course of Justice.
He claimed that Tinubu be disqualified on the strength of the American Court judgment where he was made to lose$ 460,000 on anesthetics and plutocrat laundering- related offences.
Atiku’s final address was espoused by his supereminent counsel, Chief Chris Uche SAN.
Still, counsel to the All Revolutionaries Congress, APC, Lateef Fagbemi SAN, prompted the Court to dismiss the arguments on the ground that the purported judgement was delivered over 30 times agone.
On his own part, President Tinubu, represented by legal luminary Chief Wole Olanipekun SAN, canvassed that the solicitation be dismissed because the grievances of Atiku and PDP are targeted at the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC.
